Long-Lasting Battery Life
Assioma is the only pedal-based power meter with built-in rechargeable batteries.
The Lithium-ion batteries have been designed to ensure a minimum of 50 operating hours and to grant excellent performance, even with intensive professional use.
Plus, the batteries are maintenance-free: for the benefit of the wallet and the environment.
Fast and Simultaneous Charging
Thanks to the charger supplied with a double USB cable you can recharge your Assioma power meter pedals at the same time and effortlessly: without uninstalling them from the bike crank arms.
Moreover, the exclusive magnetic power connectors prevent unpleasant damage - both to the sensor and to the bike - caused by accidental yanks.
Out-Door Charging and Smart Energy Management
Equipped with Start&Stop technology, the Asioma automatically sets to stand-by after a few minutes of inactivity and instantly switches back on with a simple pedal stroke.
When the battery of a pedal is low, a special signal appears on the bike computer: this indication means that there are still about 8 hours of autonomy.
If necessary, you can recharge your Assioma power meters with a common smartphone charger and, if no power outlet is avaible, you can use a common power bank too.
How to install Assioma: Just Like A Common Pedal
You can install the Assioma power meter pedals on the crank arm of your bike in just a few minutes without the assistance of a mechanic, safely and easily by yourself.
Unlike others, there is no need to modify the transmission, remove the wheels or install external sensors (pods).
Install, remove and move Assioma from one bike to another anytime you want with a simple hex key: just like a common pedal.
Tighten the pedals and you are ready to go! Do not worry about any issue with the alignment, the Assioma technology already took care of everything.

Assioma resistance: tested in laboratory, proven on the road
Each component of Assioma was designed in-house by Favero Electronics and passed strict control tests (load, shock, fatigue, wear, water resistance, electrical safety, etc.) fully satisfying the standards required by the current regulations.
Favero Electronics manufactures in Italy every bike power meter and tests the good functioning of each unit individually to ensure maximum reliability and durability.
The professional athletes of the Bardiani-CSF team (UCI Professional Continental), along with numerous beta-testers, have thoroughly tested the Assioma power meters on the road: verifying their extreme strength even throughout race accidents and other types of "mistreatment".
No space for water nor humidity
All the components of the Assioma power sensors are contained in a watertight and compact block wrapped around the pedal axle: all the electronics and the rechargeable battery are placed and protected in a single container waterproofed by bicomponent resin.
Assioma has no vulnerable openings to water nor humidity: i.e. no battery container that can accidentally open and, over time, no longer guarantee the initial waterproofness.
This feature makes Assioma resistant not only to liquids but also to mud, snow, and dust (IP67 certified).
Innovative Solutions
The impressive strength of the Assioma power meter pedals has been achieved thanks to the careful Research and Development of Favero Electronics, which conceived and created highly innovative industrial design and technological solutions, such as:
-
The bicomponent resin block, fully watertight and shock-proof, in which all the electronic components of the sensor are immersed and protected.
-
The compact design (without protruding parts) and the strategic position of the sensor: designed not to interfere with the pedal movement. Not even in tight turns.
-
The new senor shell: thicker than ever and made of a shock-absorbing plastic polymer reinforced with fiberglass.
-
The sensor diameter of only 33.5mm: even smaller than Favero bePRO.
-
The independent pedal body: which can be easily detached from the pedal axle (where the sensor is) and replaced if needed.
These solutions do not compromise the primacy of the lightness of Assioma that, with a total weight of only 149.5 grams (including batteries), is the lightest power meter pedal ever.
