I was looking for Shimano L03A brake pads for quite a long time (just like everyone else). After coming across George’s YouTube channel I realized there were other options and I’m glad I trusted his expertise. Not only do these fit the same as the L03A, but they perform better. Only issue I had was squeaking a few times after install, but that went away after 1 ride. Definitely recommend these.

I was initially skeptical that these had superior braking performance to the L03As since I had not heard of the brand before, but having run them for a few weeks I agree with these claims. I put these pads through a “stress test” today, intentionally dragging my brakes and over braking down a steep (~17%) winding descent in the Berkeley, CA hills; despite my best efforts I was unable to induce brake fade and experienced no loss of braking power. I will be using these in the future over the Shimano parts.
